I was honored with the JIBS silver medal for those that have made the most significant contribution to the journal, in terms of the frequency and intensity of their efforts, at a celebration event in Copenhagen, Denmark, in June 2019, during the Academy of International Business Annual Conference.
Cuervo-Cazurra & Newburry Award
Academy of International Business Latin American and the Caribbean Chapter
The Award was established in 2019 in my and William Newburry's name by the Academy of International Business Latin America and the Caribbean Chapter and given annually "to the scholar that contributes the most to the scientific capacity of academics in Latin America and the Caribbean."
